I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The location was great with ample street parking, and even though it's not as stylish as some others nearby, it had a genuine and relaxed vibe. The service was top-notch, making my first visit a very pleasurable experience. However, there were some mixed attitudes among the staff members in different areas of the hotel. Overall, a good choice for a comfortable stay.

The room I stayed in was well-equipped with a small pod-type coffee maker and had two bathrooms, which was a nice touch. However, a small microwave would have been convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located near the lively James River and just a mile away from old city hall. The rooms are spacious and stylish, but having only a shower could be a drawback.
